Doomsday is a Sci-Fi LARP set in the far future, where the final battle against Entropy is being fought. Participants interact in an immersive, physical setting to tell the story of their personally created characters and help guide the stories of others. Meanwhile, challenges are presented to the players to overcome. Modules include physical combat through foam dart guns and padded weaponry, technical puzzles and games, and social debate to resolve verbal, social and political conflicts.
Visually and thematically, Doomsday incorporates elements drawn from the rich history of science fiction and related genres – cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, science-fantasy and horror – creating a world limited only by the imagination of its writers and participants.
Edge of Forever LLC is a Pennsylvania-based production group focused on designing, facilitating and running cooperative game experiences.
